Questions about this tool
What happens when image colors are inverted?
Each RGB channel is reversed: black becomes white, red becomes cyan, green becomes magenta, and blue becomes yellow.
Does color inversion preserve transparent pixels?
PNG and WebP output keep each alpha value unchanged. JPEG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are placed on white before inversion.
Is my image uploaded to create the negative effect?
No. The browser reads, transforms, previews, and exports the pixels locally. The source and inverted image are not sent to Peelaway.
