How do I pick a color from an image?

Why can nearby pixels have different colors?
Photos and anti-aliased graphics often contain subtle pixel-to-pixel changes. This picker reports the exact sampled pixel rather than averaging a surrounding area.
Does Peelaway upload the image or selected color?
No. The image is decoded and sampled in your browser. Neither its pixels nor the selected color values are sent to Peelaway or included in analytics.
