Resize an image in your browser
Choose exact pixel dimensions, preserve the aspect ratio when you want to, and download a fresh JPG, PNG, or WebP. The image stays in this browser tab.
How it works
Choose an image
Open a JPG, PNG, or WebP file from your device.
Set the dimensions
Enter the output width or height in pixels. Keep the aspect-ratio lock on to avoid stretching.
Download the result
Pick an output format, resize locally, and save the new file.
What stays private here
- The source image is decoded in this browser tab.
- Canvas creates the output file on this device.
- No source image or output image is sent to Peelaway.
- Nothing from this utility is added to your Peelaway account.
Questions about this tool
Does Peelaway upload the image to resize it?
No. This utility decodes and resizes the file in your browser. It does not send the source image to Peelaway's servers.
How do I resize without stretching the image?
Leave Lock aspect ratio enabled. Changing either dimension then calculates the other dimension from the source image's proportions.
Which image formats can I resize?
The tool accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images and can export any of those three formats when the browser supports them.
