Peelaway sets only a small number of first-party, strictly necessary cookies. We do not use them to track you across sites or to build advertising profiles.

• Session / authentication cookie: set when you sign in, to keep you securely logged in and to protect your requests. Without it, you cannot use your account.
• Theme preference: remembers your light or dark display choice so the interface looks the way you left it.

Both are essential to features you have asked for, so they are exempt from consent requirements.

Peelaway does not currently set analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR at this time. If we later introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and present a consent prompt that lets you accept or reject those cookies before they are set, wherever the law requires it.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking our essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using your account, since they are required for the Service to function.

Signing in with GitHub or paying through our provider, Polar, happens on those companies' own pages, where they may set their own cookies under their policies. Those cookies are outside our control.
